Tony Allen is auctioning off the shoe that kicked Chris Paul in the face
On November 18, Memphis Grizzlies guard Tony Allen was ejected from a game for kicking Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul in the face. Allen insisted the kick was unintentional, but he was suspended for one game.
Now, you can own the shoe that connected with Paul's face. Allen autographed the shoe and donated it to Youth Villages for an upcoming charity auction. You can find it on eBay — as of this writing, the bidding is at $2,325.
The money from the auction will go toward buying Christmas presents for underprivileged children, so there are definitely worse ways to spend that extra $2,325 you have lying around. If you or a loved one really, really hates Chris Paul, consider your Christmas shopping done.
