So, here's Tabri's other species:

They're called: I'x-Ule

(Say: eye-EX-yule) - thanks to OctopusFan13 for helping me work out that name!

They are a semi-aquatic, mostly-carnivorous (can and do eat fruits and vegetables, but require meat in their diet) species that shares a common ancestor with Irkens (no PAKS; and they are compatible with Irkens, could actually interbreed). Their eyes, skin, and antennae come in various colours, but their skin is always very dark. (This one's blue-ish.) They have multiple sexes/genders (I think I had like 9? LOL!), but there is almost no outward dimorphism.

They are religious (their own, of course, LOL!, but I don't have the details worked out), and have a rich culture; extremely xenophobic (for reasons, though, not just because they're jerks - they almost got wiped out), and keep to themselves except for some minimal intergalactic trading.

This specific [unnamed] one is one that Tabri met when he went looking for them to learn about his other half. They only grudgingly tolerated him because he was half-I'x-Ule (otherwise he'd have been captured on the spot and likely tortured to death). But he was allowed to stay for a little while and this one deigned to teach him a little bit about their culture before it was "now goodbye, don't ever come back or we'll arrest you and may kill you". Tabri's been quite bitter.
